Sonakshi Sinha Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial:
Follow the steps to create the Sonakshi Sinha eye makeup look:
Hydration is the basic step we need to follow before we apply any kind of makeup. The same principle also applies to the eye makeup! Gently pat your favorite under eye cream to moisturize the delicate area and to relieve the dryness. The slightest issue of dry skin can make your makeup appear patchy. Start by applying and blending it gently with your ring finger till it blends into the skin. People with darker and pigmented eyelid should use salmon or orange color corrector before applying the concealer. It will hide the dark circles and also create an even base for the eye makeup. Then, set it with a compact powder to stop creasing of the products applied.
Now apply a creamy black eyeshadow or a black kajal base to the moving lid area. Keep it restricted just above your eye socket or crease area of your eyes. The application of the cream base in this step need not be very neat as we are creating a smokey look and will smudge the kajal later.
Use a smudger or pencil brush to gently blend the sharp edge of the kajal. Now, pick a shimmery or satin-finished taupe brown eyeshadow and apply it to the eyelid area of your eyes. Load the eyeshadow in a flat brush and softly pat the color over the smudged creamy kajal base.
Pick a matte orange-brown eyeshadow in a nice fluffy dome shaped blending brush. And then softly blend out all the harsh edges of the taupe eyeshadow and the creamy black kajal base applied earlier. It will give the eye makeup a soft smokey look. Gently blend it by imitating soft circular motions.
Pick a dark matte black eyeshadow and apply it to the crease area and the outermost V area of your eyes. It is best to use a small pencil or dome shaped brush for this step as it will help in the precise application of the eyeshadow. Remember not to take the eyeshadow above the natural crease area as it will end up looking for fake and raccoon-like. Then, use a tapered blending brush and softly blend the black eyeshadow.
Now, apply the same matte black eyeshadow to your lower outer V area to finish the eye makeup. Then, as a final touch, apply a shimmery highlight color to the innermost tear duct and highest point of your brow bone. This will add sensuality to the dark eye makeup. Apply several coats of mascara to imitate fluttering lashes, just like Sonakshi.
Now you are ready with beautiful, flirty eyes! This is a classic look that will look good on anybody. Try it!
