Healthy Heart Recipe: Chunky Vegetable Spread

Skip those high calorie spreads and opt for this healthy low calorie vegetable spread instead. Mixed with a healthy blend of dairy, fibre and vitamins,  this chunky vegetable spread is a perfect breakfast accompaniment to begin your day with.
2 tbsp low fat milk
3/4 cup grated low fat paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
2 tbsp chopped spring onion greens
2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1 tbsp chopped parsley
salt to taste

To Serve

crunchy cumin seed crackers


1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Chill for 2 hours.
2. Serve with the crunchy cumin seed crackers.
