DIY – Best Lotion for Dry Skin and Normal Skin

Things We Need:

  • A clean bowl
  • Spatula/spoon
  • Curd
  • Honey
  • Lemon
  • Cotton

The quantity we’d be taking is for one time use on face and neck area.

What Do We Need To Do?

Step 1:

Take a clean bowl. This will serve as the mixing template for this DIY project.

Step 2:

Add two teaspoons of curd in it. You may use home-made or the one available in store as per your choice.

Step 3:

But remember—fresher the curd the better.

Step 4:

Add 1 teaspoon of honey in the same bowl. Keep the quantity limited to only 1 spoon or else the resultant mixture would turn out to be more viscous than we would like it to be.

Step 5:

Isn’t it already looking tempting?

Step 6:

Now take a medium sized lemon. Mine is from my own garden at home- fresh and juicy—I have bought the bragging rights with my gardening skills!

Step 7:

Cut it into two halves.

Step 8:

I really love the sight of a freshly cut lemon!

Step 9:

We’d be using only half part of this lemon into the bowl. That will be enough for the desired mixture.

Step 10:

Take a spatula or a mini spoon and mix all the three ingredients thoroughly.

Step 11:

Is the cleansing lotion ready for use? Yes, it sure is!

How to Use:

Step 12:

Pick up a decently sized cotton pad for application

Step 13:

Drop the cotton over the lotion, let it soak the mixture nicely and then bring it out.

Step 14:

You may store the lotion soaked in these cotton pads in the refrigerator or store the lotion alone and dip the cotton as and when necessary.

Step 15:

Rub with the same cotton over the area you want to clean. I have rubbed it over my hand for the purpose of this post.

That’s my hand after using the lotion and wiping off with water.
