DIY Makeup Trick To Correct An Eyeliner Mistake Tutorial:
Follow the steps to learn the tricks to correct an eyeliner mistake:
Choose your favorite liquid eyeliner. Do your eyeliner thinly or thickly according to your preference. The most important thing to remember is that once you are done with doing your eyeliner is to correct the mistake. Before the eyeliner formula sets, you need to quickly fix the mistake, otherwise it might appear very stark and you might have to redo the entire eye makeup.
Take a clean cotton swab and place it over the eyeliner. Do not use any water or setting spray in an effort to remove the eyeliner, as it will leave a dark patch on the skin. Also, the concealer and eye shadow that you had previously applied might get disturbed. Instead, just use the dry, clean cotton swabs and create gentle to and fro motions to remove the eyeliner.
Once you have removed the eyeliner mistake, you might still see a slight discoloration or blotch of black eyeliner on the eyelid area. To correct it, you need to use a concealer if you have just done the eye makeup with an eyeliner, or with an eyeshadow, if you have done the eye makeup with the eyeshadows.
Dab a tiny bit of concealer over the mistake as shown in the image to hide the discoloration. If you have done the eye makeup with eyeshadows, then layer the eyeshadow over the corrected eyeliner part to hide the discoloration.
Now, use a small flat eye shadow brush or your ring finger to blend the concealer. Remember not to over blend it, as it might remove the pigmentation of the concealer formula while not covering up the discoloration well. Then, use a translucent or tinted compact powder to set the concealer applied, and to stop creasing.
And you are done! That’s it. Wasn’t it simple to correct the eyeliner mistake? Now, you can happily try different eyeliner styles even with a few minutes in hand because you now know the trick to correct an eyeliner mistake!
