Eye Brightening Tutorial:
Follow the steps to create the bright eye makeup look:
Before we move on to the actual tutorial, we’ll need to get our eyes ready! Moisturizing is an important step in all kinds of makeup. So, gently pat some eye cream to the under eye area to hydrate and relieve the dryness. Apply and blend it completely with a light hand until it is fully absorbed into the skin. If you have pigmented eyelids, you would have to use an orange or peach colored corrector prior to the layering of the concealer to get a flawless finish. Set the concealer with a translucent or compact powder to prevent creasing of the cream applied.
Then, apply a white or nude colored eye pencil to the waterline area of your eyes. This step will instantly lift your eyes and give you gorgeous doe-like eyes.
Then, pick the same white or nude eye pencil and start applying it to the highest point of the brow bone area, innermost corner, and the center of the top eyelid area. Gently apply it without tugging the sensitive eye area. This step needn’t be precise and neat as we will smudge it off for a seamless finish.
Now, use your ring finger and softly pat to blend the product into the skin. The warmth of your fingers will help the products to blend easily. So, it is best to use your fingers for this step rather than using an eyeshadow brush. It is also important to use a formula which doesn’t set quickly as blending might turn out to be difficult. Blending, blending and blending, that’s what this whole step is about. In fact that is what makeup is all about too!
Keep blending all the rough edges, but don’t over blend it as it might move out of the highest points of your eyes for the highlighted look marked in the earlier step.
Pick a shimmery cream eyeshadow and apply it to the center of your eyelid area and the innermost corner of your eyes. Remember to apply this eyeshadow above the smudged-out creamy base. Gently pat the shimmery cream eyeshadow and avoid sweeping motion to achieve maximum color pay off.
Now, pick a matte medium brown or orange-brown eyeshadow and apply it to the eye socket or crease area of your eyes. Load the eyeshadow in a fluffy blending brush and with a wind shield wiper motion, softly blend the color into the crease.
Then, apply the same shimmery highlighter shade to the brow bone area of your eyes. Curl your eyelashes and apply lots of mascara to give an illusion of thicker and fuller eyelashes. People who love to create intense and heavy eye look, can add false eyelashes.
Fresh and bright—this is how our eyes should look! Try it for an evening party, or when you are going to meet your best friends to bask in all the attention! No more dull eyes, just embrace white!
