How to Make:
- Prepare the dough by kneading whole wheat flour with water and salt to taste. The dough should be non-sticky. Cover with a cloth and keep aside.
- Clean potatoes, remove the peel, cut into cubes, and cook until done.
- Meanwhile, soak the root strips, drain off excess water, and stir until done.
- Take out the cooked potatoes, mash well without lumps, and keep aside
- Add oil in a frying pan placed on medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add sautéed roots followed by mashed potatoes.
- Add coriander powder, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt.

- Make about 10 balls from the dough.
- Roll out the balls into an 1.5 inch thick flatbread, one after the other
- Place on a heated tawa and cook on both sides until brown spots appear. You can apply a little cooking oil too.
- Place the flatbread on a clean plate. Add 1 tsp of the mint coriander spread on one end of the roti. Add the potato-root mixture on top of it.
- Now start folding from the end where you have kept the filling.
- Roll tight until you complete and it looks like a wrap.
